Election time

There is no conspiracy. But somehow a video with Osama bin Laden ends up at Al-Jazeera, nobody questions its authenticity (that’s a first!) or origins, the video is shown with picture and sound undubbed (usually tv companies chop and dub the clips in case they contain embedded messages) as such, and George Bush’s popularity jumps ten percent. Or is reported to have jumped ten percent. But hey, it’s only circumstances, eh? These things do happen, and bin has a right to voice his concerns, don’t you think?

Here’s a pretty bitter set of observations on what G has said versus what he has done.

A caught a glipmse of an interview on Swedish telly yesterday with one critical american philosopher who’se name i didn’t catch. He commented on the Who will be elected President? question, something like this: George W Bush will be president. Kerry will get more votes, but Bush will be the one elected president. Again.

It’s showtime tomorow. And the courts will decide. There is no conspiracy.

Here’s my statement. A picture of John and John. OK, so it’s Flansburgh and Linnell, but i can’t be all partial, can i? :)
