Bruce Tog
Togazzini is a usability guy in the Nielsen/Norman camp, who publishes an article on the net when time permits. And this weekend Tog pushed a doc called Ten Most Persistent Design Bugs. The list covers software bugs, hardware bugs and, most importantly, programmer bugs. If you get paid for planning software, give the list a look. If you get kix out of usability problems (i.e. you’re another nagging academic like me), give the list a look. And if you are a hardware manufacturer, read at least the bug number one, then conquer the world with your superior motherboard.
Oh, and Tog’s list has a bug too :). It’s not hidden. Read the list and you’ll find it.
