OMIT

One Moment In East Timor

Ah the joy of pointlessness! Flickr is a service through which i post some of the pictures i’ve taken. Squared Circle is a group on flickr, the art of which is circle-formed things in a perfectly square-cropped picture. It’s one of those things you either just get or never will. But wait, there’s more. On the day of the equinox (today) Squared Circle had an international event, One Moment In Time, or OMIT (ah!) where Square Circle-people all around he world photographed their (round) clocks and watches at the exact same time. Just fifteen minutes ago, actually.Of course i’m in there ;)

Update: Picture posted; i’m sorry it isn’t very sharp but at 20:00 and with no flash, it’s pretty dark in Dili. But what’s worse, i don’t see any other OMITSC pictures on the site… Did i get the wrong time? Am i “first poster”? :)

Update 2: Phew. Evidently i was first poster (being first anywhere is kinda strange for me). What now is rather k3wl is watching other OMITs arrive! Suddenly it really starts feeling like a common/community event. Whoa is in order.
