I was caught in a viral marketing campaign for the movie The Golden Compass, based on the book Northern Lights (re-released in the US as Golden Compass). On the Golden compass movie site, i was introduced to Clynonistra, my dæmon. A dæmon is an animal spirit cum best friend, who reflects ones personality and helps one along in choices of life. Clymonistra is — currently — an ocelot (Leopardus pardalis, something like a cross between a leopard and a cat — i’d rather been a Lynx) but you, good folks, have twelve days in commenting whether my view of myself corresponds to the me as seen by you.

In twelve days from now, my dæmon will take its final form.
