Here’s the status on my three KIVA loans.

• Grace Wacera Ub, who sells clothes in an open market in Kenya, has just repaid her first 5% chunk of the loan
• Isabel Chongo, who is a retailer in Maputo, Mozambique (Moçambique?), has paid back 8% on her loan
• Finally, Mónica Bernita, who runs a soda shop in Guayaquil, Equador, has repaid 13% of her loan.

I wish all the entrepreneurs i have loaned to good fortune, flourishing business and plenty of sisu! Also, i encourage anybody who feel they are able to loan any multiple of 20 € (actually, of US$25) in microfinancing somebody’s life better, to do so. It’s not hard, but it means a lot at the recieving end.
