Eejit of the week: Thomas Martel, who surgically altered his thumbs to be compatible with his iPhone and other electronical gadgetry (hello all you user centred designers, take heed and save the world from more desperate users) [“Nutcracker” mp3/cd player by Yong-Seong Kim. Unsure if it’s just a design model (”puumalli” in finnish) or if one has actually been implemented. A hip hop model for playing 12″ vinyls must be in the pipeline.

Be warned that Yanko Design, who published the CD/mp3 player above, can seriously impact on your working day efficiency.
