Dear Sharifi,

Thanks for your comments. You are of course quite correct, but you cannot fit hundred of books, articles etc into two minutes of text. I simply wrote my post so that people like me would have even a two minute clue about Afghanistan. I know it's a quick and shallow look into a complicated and long winding history. I'm still convinced that there are people out there who would benefit from even a two minute glimpse of Afghanistan.

Dear writer;

I think this was way too generalized and might be your own perception. In fact, to know Araina, you need to study hundreds of books, articles etc... This region had civilization, culture, society, polity, economy as in the western countries people lived in poverty and uncivilization.

The western world polity towards Afghanistan was built up on long term strategy before the PDPA revolution and made the situation worst that Afghans got fade up and allowed the westerners to to enter Ancient Ariana (Aryans homeland) land and invaded it.

Afghanistan has: virigion natural resources, geopolitical and strategic location, millions of illiterate that can be deceived easily and used, and religion is the most powerful tool that's been used/use. US will not leave Afghanistan after spent billions of dollars in this country. US is now in a better position to dominate Central Asia, Russia, Pakistan, Iran an old enemy but strategic partner, India, and China. I think, US is not fool to leave a country that too cheap and easily occupied.
